Perfect Blues - Filming in Progress with Jess Young

For those of you who have not yet had the pleasure of meeting Jess, he is an extremely humorous character.
No matter what the subject of conversation is, he will leave you laughing so hard that you'll find it hard to breathe!

Here's a very short glimpse into an average day's skating with Jess, enjoy.

Perfect Blues - A mission to Bath

Last weekend we made the most of the dry weather and headed to Bath, one of the UK's heritage cities.

Being that the city is so old and the spots are few and far between, you have to really think outside of the box when trying to film new and exciting things in Bath.

We took a moment to warm up and solidify our strategy at the Royal Victoria Park. Check the quick clip below to see what Ollie Lock, James Callison, Jess Young and Dave Wallace got up to at the infamous skatepark.

Enjoy.

Perfect Blues - Filming in Progress with Ollie Lock

Ollie Lock is one of those naturally talented skateboarders, but sometimes things don't always go to plan.

Check the second "Filming in Progress" teaser for Perfect Blues below.

More PB content on it's way very, very soon!

Perfect Blues

Perfect Blues is my next full length UK Skateboarding DVD.

The concept behind it is simple, represent as many UK scenes and skateboarders as possible and to create a video that is raw and full of energy, something that best represents British skateboarding as we all know it.

Here's the first little teaser for the video, featuring the one and only Perfect Blues frontman, Dave Wallace.

Lloyds Big Three Competition 2012

As per usual, the annual "Big Three" competition was an incredible event. There was a very large turnout of spectators, skateboarders, filmers and dogs.

The comp sees the iconic Amphitheatre based on the waterfront of Bristol transformed into a bustling skateboarding mecca that can be compared to havens such as Macba, for example.

Every single person who attended the competition contributed to the infectious electric atmosphere, which fuelled many of the skateboarders to try and go bigger and better than last year.

Below is my edit from the day. Featuring the likes of Ollie Lock, Jess Young, Phil Parker, Pete Adams, Josh Arnott, Shaun Currie, Korahn Gayle and many more.

See you next year!

Jason Lewer's Fabric Skateboards Section

Over the past few months Jason and I have been hard at work, filming non stop for his 'welcome' edit for Fabric Skateboards.

What was initially just a few clips soon snowballed into a full section featuring a lot of well known Bristol landmarks and even a couple of well known Milton Keynes street spots.

The soundtrack to the edit was kindly supplied by the musicians that go by the name of 'The Shaws', hit those guys up if you like what you hear!
