First off, I'd like to thank all of the people who turned up to the premieres across the country. Your support means a lot to everyone that was involved in Perfect Blues, you rule.
The DVD will be out in UK Skate Stores very, very soon. However if you'd like to get a little fix of the Perfect Blues right now, Shiner Dist have just uploaded their section in the most recent episode of "Pixels".
Check it out below, more info to follow on where you can buy the DVD!

Shiner Big Push 2011 Overview
In July I was asked by the Team Manager of Shiner Distribution, Jerome Loughran if I would partake in the 'Big Push' competition for the second year running. Of course, I said yes.
The idea of the 'Big Push' is simple: Live on the road for 8 days, film 5 professional skateboarders, make an edit.
Overall, the trip was without a doubt the best filming tour I have attended, with a brilliant bunch of people, the weather on our side and the whole of the UK to experience, nothing could have been better.
The skateboard athlete roster was: Nicky Howells, Josh 'Manhead' Young, Jed Cullen, James Coyle and all the way from the USA, Robbie Brockel. On filming duties was myself and Lt. Meat, with Team Manager Jerome Loughran holding everything together.
The edit will be released as a cover-mounted DVD on the October 2011 issue of Sidewalk magazine.
Here is a photographic overview of the best parts of the 8 day experience:

Additional camera op Lt. Meat and Shiner skateboards representative Jed getting their art on.

A classic Nicky moment, view the footage below!

The Angel of the North had the pleasure of hosting us for a few moments.

When not filming, pole-dancing is my favourite pastime.

End of day Fish & Chips session at Whitley Bay.

Looking for a Stalefish.

James Coyle rolling up.

Toby Carvery... Before.

After.

Beach Boys.

James setting up the Bar at Baineside for us after our long and hard Big Push!

Lt. Meat Cam at Baineside. It seems that the Bar has got the better of him...

The end of the Big Push. Back home at Shiner HQ, Nicky is feeling the full force of an 8 day skate trip.

A lot of footage was logged from this trip, followed by a 3 week editing session!
Stay tuned to the Sidewalk website and the Big Push website for more updates on the release of this years monster.
